The high cost of low-life livin' got me down The high cost of low-life livin' got me down When I finally reached to heaven I was almost underground I went to my baby and my baby say Boy you better changed your wicked ways Stop your hardcore drinking and your runnin' around Or I'm moving back with momma and leavin' you clown The high cost of low-life livin' got me down The high cost of low-life livin' got me down When I finally reached to heaven I was almost underground The rent came due and electric to But I spent all my money on wine and hooch A blind man could see I was on my way To the bottom of the barrel come judgment day The high cost of low-life livin' got me down The high cost of low-life livin' got me down When I finally reached to heaven I was almost underground Well I loved my honey and couldn't let go So I fell on my knees and I asked the Lord Change this fool for the sake of your name Me and my baby never been the same The high cost of low-life livin' got me down The high cost of low-life livin' got me down When I finally reached to heaven I was almost underground

I get the blues but I don't despair I get the blues but I don't despair I get the blues but they don't get me I carry a heavy load ain't no denying I carry a heavy load ain't no denying I get the blues but they don't get me I've learned to sing through the pain Smile in the face of agony I've learned to dance in the pouring rain I get the blues but they don't get me

Baby, did you ever imagine the years would go by so fast Now the last wave of summer washes out to sea The chill in the air reminds me to breath The life we have life before we leave And the last wave of summer washes out to sea A new day is dawning let’s savor this moment Love brought us to With autumn upon us I have to be honest I could live another lifetime with you Put your hand in my hand, your head on my chest I’ll block the wind from the east and the west As the last wave of summer washes out to sea Angels of mercy all flying around lay with here on this soft sandy ground as the last wave of summer washes out to sea A new day is dawning let’s savor this moment Love brought us to With autumn upon us I have to be honest I could live another lifetime with you Leaving this season is hard to do But time won’t baby, time won’t wait We’ve got to move on with the rest of the journey So, soak it up, baby soak it up Cause the last wave, the last wave of summer is gone The last wave, the last wave of summer is gone Leaving this season is hard to do But time won’t baby, time won’t wait We’ve got to move on with the rest of the journey So, soak it up, baby soak it up Cause the last wave, the last wave of summer is gone The last wave, the last wave of summer is gone The last wave, the last wave of summer is gone

Honey roll the window down, turn up the radio I hear your favorite song playing Don’t Stop Believin’ takes us home again We’re a long way from Lafayette Boulevard Ain’t crazy what time can do Seems like yesterday we were runaways Dodgin’ bullets from our own damn gun... until Grace amazing found us on a sidewalk in Ballentine Grace amazing saved lost Bonnie and her broken Clyde Ain't it something when the losers win the prize Sometimes fallen angels fly Looky there darlin, a Chevy Chevette We've sure come a long way but we ain't there yet Driving memory lane take longer, the older we get That detour sign right there reminds me of the turn we chose to take Rememberin', surrenderin', giving up and rollin' on Grace amazing found us on a sidewalk in Ballentine Grace amazing saved lost Bonnie and her broken Clyde Ain't it something when the losers win the prize Sometimes fallen angels fly It ain't where we come from but where we're going to Not what we have but what we do Good God Almighty look at all He's done on the wings of love and truth

Mercy 03:56
I’m gonna shout I’m gonna sing I’m gonna dance through the midnight cause I know what daybreak brings MERCY in the morning MERCY everyday MERCY Lord I need some MERCY, MERCY and steadfast love I’m gonna sway to the beat of the hope I feel Bid farewell to my troubles cause I know this love is real I’m gonna slow down Take life one day at a time I’m gonna ride this train Cast my worries behind MERCY in the morning MERCY everyday MERCY when the rain keeps falling MERCY and the rivers rise MERCY Lord cover me MERCY Lord I need some MERCY, MERCY and steadfast love

When I was broken down with no one to understand You met me in the valley of the damned Hanging on a cross that I deserved to bear You met me in the valley of the damned Crucified beside the One who came to hunt me down I lived a lie and tried to steal my way to higher ground Oh, the fool that I became by my own hand But you met me in the valley of the damned I don’t know why, you would be here by my side Condemned to bleed and die in the valley of the damned Remember me when you come back as king I believe, Lord save me from the valley of the damned Crucified beside the One who came to hunt me down I lived a lie and tried to steal my way to higher ground I played the fool why would you choose to give your life for mine But you met me in the valley of the damned

I went to Mississippi on a big airplane Down to Alabama on an Amtrack train I cruised Beale Street in a limousine You know, I went to Mardi Gras down in New Orleans Everywhere I went, every time I sinned you found me there I went to Las Vegas and rolled the dice I went to Hollywood and I paid the price Phoenix, Arizona where it’s hot and dry To Dallas-Fort Worth on the Fourth of July Everywhere I went, every time I sinned you found me there Like a GPS from outer space You found me, every place I roamed Like an old friend found on My Space A pop up popped up in my face come home I went to Chi-town and the wind did blow Took me to the land of the buffalo Seattle in the summer was a fine delight I went to Montana for the northern lights Everywhere I went, every time I sinned you found me there Like a GPS from outer space You found me, every place I roamed Like an old friend found on My Space A pop up popped up in my face come home New York City, big Times Square There’s a cowboy singing in his underwear Philadelphia freedom didn’t set me free They say Virginia is for lovers but she didn’t like me Everywhere I went, every time I sinned you found me there Like a GPS from outer space You found me, every place I roamed Like an old friend found on My Space A pop up popped up in my face come home Like a GPS from outer space You found me, every place I roamed Like an old friend found on My Space A pop up popped up in my face come home

Go to Memphis if you get the chance Walk the Beale Street, put a penny in his can And he will play the blues for you, he will insist And all he’ll ask you to do is remember this The pain that poured across the Delta Fields of broken souls in chains Singing Glory to the Father above And hoping for grace of change Go to Memphis, visit Sun and Graceland But don’t forget the ghost of Robert Johnson Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Son House Too All they ask for you to do is remember this Southern angels shouting out the truth Southern angels gave the whole wide world the blues The pain that poured across the Delta Fields of broken souls in chains Singing Glory to the Father above And hoping for grace of change

The blood of Jesus washed my blues away The blood of Jesus washed my blues away Every time I fall, every time I fail He saves I went walking down a dead end street I Imet some people I wish I didn’t meet I did some things I wish I didn’t do I walked away feeling oh-so blue, but… The blood of Jesus washed my blues away Every time I fall, every time I fail He saves Right side up, upside down My whole wide world crashed to the ground I had no idea what I’d do I fell on my knees and cried out to you, and The blood of Jesus washed my blues away Every time I fall, every time I fail He saves

Your Stay 04:40
When the enemy comes in like a roaring lion And worry is on your mind When you can’t sleep, ‘cause the water’s so deep You can trust in me When waves roll so high And the wind blows you down When anxiety shatters your peace You can trust in me I’ll be a rock that you can stand on a fortress in the fray I’ll be a hand that you can cling to And I will be your stay When death comes knocking at your door And steals the ones you love When your heart is filled with unbearable grief You can trust in me When hope seems lost And your bow begins to break Will you believe what your eyes can’t see and trust in me I’ll be a rock that you can stand on a fortress in the fray I’ll be a hand that you can cling to And I will be your stay I’ll be a shelter in your time of need A helper when you’re frail and weak An anchor in the fiercest storm Healer when your soul is torn I’ll be a shelter in your time of need A helper when you’re frail and weak An anchor in the fiercest storm Healer when your soul is torn I’ll be a shelter in your time of need A helper when you’re frail and weak An anchor in the fiercest storm Healer when your soul is torn Yes, I will be your stay Yes, I will be your stay I’ll be a rock that you can stand on A fortress in the fray I’ll be a hand that you can cling to And I will be you stay
